First post on creating my game

Hi there, so I wanna use this blog as a sort of progress diary for the development on my project PathToTheUnknown, which is gonna be an incremental idle game, with a murim world setting. I am using fullstack technologies, from javascript, to spring, to rest apis down to MySQL Databases.
I got some Java and SQL knowledge and hope to learn lots, while doing this project. So apart from being a progress log, i also hope that this will serve as a way to show others, that game development is so much more than just designing the content, coding, making art and hosting it.

Sooo for todays post I wanna say that I setup github. Like I actually had to create an organization, because someone offered to help with all the organisational work and i wanted to add them to the repository, while not giving them too many permissions. And it kinda took the whole day from noon to 17o clock, to figure it all out, make decisions and so forth. Reason being: i hosted the repository on my account with my real name, but wanted to kinda keep that private. Yay big issues solved, the world has been made a tiny bit better... maybe.

So I got an assistant, set up github, gave my new assistant the job of creating issue templates(seems to be a nice github feature) and didnt get a single line of code written. Ready to fall into a bed and sleep.

I also set up this blog! I plan to do daily posts or almost daily posts and keep up the game development over months and years. And i sure put in the work already to make sure this will work.

Hoping for a playable version, that i can share on reddit or something by november maybe :? we will see^^

Feel free to reach out if there is anything more you wish to know. I will answer it in future blog posts probably, though I will mainly invest my time into progress on development and setting things up. thanks for reading, see ya
